Paul Bailey, Paris, 1906 with certificate by Jean-Jacques Rampal, 2003. This is a very healthy violin, free from cracks or visible repairs. Excellent tone and power. $22,500 Canadian funds.

 

The Ex-Chooi Violin made by Ken Millard, Salt Lake City, 1977
We are pleased to offer for sale this instrument used by both the Chooi brothers until 2011. After that date Nikki was awarded the loan of a Joseph Del Jesu Guarneri and Timmy won the loan of a violin by a Norwegian luthier.

On one occasion the young superstar Timmy Chooi tried this violin and a short impromptu video was made.

Viola D'amour by New York luthier Rudolph Olsen, 1903. This seven by seven instrument has been restored in our shop and is ready for performance.  After his death, Rudolph Olsen's workbench was on display at New York's Metropolitan Museum until the 1990's. It was displayed exactly as he left it on the day of his death.

 

This is a healthy instrument. $15,000
