Although trained in the French tradition of bow making in the shop of Wm. Salchow of New York, Vann has developed a style of his own. At least two in every ten bows he makes will reflect this style.

Bows can be ordered from stock or made to order in any of the following mountings;
 | Ebony and sterling silver. |
| Ebony and rose gold or yellow gold. |
| Mastodon and gold. |
| Horn (in dark, medium or light color) and gold (or silver). |
| Tortoise shell and gold. This shell was acquired before the 1979 import ban. |
| Only eight blocks of tortoise shell still remain in our inventory |

Tortoise bows cannot be shipped outside of the Canadian borders.
All bows come with a maker's certificate and current letter of evaluation for insurance purposes.
