These bows where commissioned by the European Foundation for Culture under the patronage of H.R.H Prince Henrik of Denmark and awarded as prizes at the Palace in Copenhagen. Mounted with Canadian Bison horn frogs and rose gold trim including gold images of the Danish Crown inset in both sides of each frog.
Sixteen year old German born Lena Neudauer won the Augsburg International Competition for Young Musicians while she was only 15. She received the Crossair prize for achievement and received a Royal bow which came in a black walnut presentation case. The Royal Crest of His Royal Highness Prince Henrik was laser-cut in blond maple wood inlayed in the top, visible here as  the small light square near her thumb. Besides performing, Ms Neudauer is studying violin at the conservatory in Salzburg, Austria, the birth place of Mozart.
